Perfect for families, wedding parties, and milestone celebrations—walk to downtown Sebastopol
Welcome to a custom 1930s home in Sebastopol’s historic downtown — a landmark house on a quiet, tree-lined block, meticulously restored and sleeping up to 10 across five distinct bedrooms.
Step through a storybook arched door into a home of timeless beauty—oak floors, artisan millwork, sun-filled rooms, and hand-picked details around every corner.
This is our home, not a staged rental — and it feels like one. The rooms are furnished with high-end antiques, custom pieces, original artwork and shelves of real books, with beds dressed in luxury linens. The kitchen is stocked with spices and proper cooking equipment; the baths with quality body wash and bathing essentials. Where most vacation rentals feel sparse, this one is lived-in and genuinely comfortable — arrive with a suitcase and nothing else.
The back of the house opens onto a walled flagstone courtyard that works as a second living room. At one end sits a full outdoor kitchen: a full-size Mugnaini pizza oven (Italian-designed, restaurant-grade, and built up the road in Healdsburg), a stainless Argentine grill with a hand-crank grate you raise and lower over the flame, a gas fireplace for cooler evenings, and marble prep counters with room to work. All of it gas-fired—everything lights at the turn of a dial, with no wood to haul and no waiting on coals.
Dinner happens at a long table under Edison string lights, with a carved stone lion-head fountain running against the far wall and copper lanterns glowing from the branches after dark.
The garden wraps the house on all four sides — a full 360 degrees of walkable, gated garden. It is mature and layered: Japanese maples, ferns, hydrangeas and purple salvia set against a tall evergreen hedge, with a majestic redwood presiding over all of it. Gravel paths and raised stone beds lead to an iron gate, a covered loggia, and a spiral stair up to the balcony. Landscape lighting carries it all after dark — green, private, and quiet enough to hear the fountain.
